Question FD A/C Questions...

Has anyone wrapped their high side line w/ some rubber hose before? I need to do this to protect it from my intake that has already rubbed a hole in it which I will be going to get welded. I'm trying to figure out if it will make a positive/neg. difference in the A/C's operation. Also... does anyone know the exact amount of 134-a that the converted fd a/c system holds? I know that if the amount is wrong the pump will cycle on and off. thanks for any help!

Wrapping the outside of your AC system piping will not improve your AC cooling capacity or performance. It might however improve the live span of the part that is rubbing on your intake.
