Because?? I think they both work well, but "Really" has a greater impact IMO. Oh, and before you get linguistically heavy on me Jim, it's called "creative license."

Your "creative license" doesn't work all that well, if you ask me. You're not one of those people who says things like "I seen" and "and like, she goes", are you?

No not at all. I just think "Really" sounds better than "Seriously." But whatev...if most ppl agree w/ you, it's a subtle change. I'll take either on the poster. You should get one too (or 20 or 30, if you're feeling generous )

EDIT: Here ya go Jim

"Seriously." has the small advantage of being ironic because the subject isn't serious, but if people like "Really." better, that's fine with me. I don't need one because I know how much significance 50/50 weight distribution "Really." has.

Yea I see what you mean. I was thinking of it in the exact opposite manner, that the subject is serious, and pass it off as a real poster lol. It's like Mazda's saying "yea, we really weren't joking about the 50/50 distribution..."

I don't need one because I know how much significance 50/50 weight distribution "Really." has.
Nice one Jim. But then again, you should buy a few anyways

Blake, are you still game for makin this into a poster? Is anyone else interested in one? Or is this gonna be a 2 man show?

EDIT: Came up w/ a diff idea...you can post on the website that "upon donation, you will receive this funny poster boasting of your RX7's 50/50 weight distribution"

Sidenote: Do all RX7s have 50/50 weight distribution? (FB, FC, and FD?) Or just the FD?

RXcetera, thanks for the info. I thought so, but wasn't sure.

Pugg and Blake, how you guys feel about the $5 poster for donating to the Rotary Engine Illustrated website? Get a poster AND help a great website dedicated to rotaries! (Anyone else?)

Pugg, since I caught that post

http://www.rotaryengineillustrated.com/

As for size, we gotta ask Blake. He said " The original image is 8.3 Megapixels!" so I'm pretty sure he can make the poster pretty darn big (as large as we'd like).

Totally understand. I think it's dedicated to rotaries and rotaries ONLY I know a lot of you guys on here are pretty verse (understatement) when it comes to mechanics and what not, but for automotive newbs like myself, websites like that and www.howstuffworks.com are worth their weight in GOLD.

Edit: Took the rest to PM.

Fair question. I use both, but just because I donate to one doesn't mean I won't donate to the other.

I dunno if you saw the group buy I had set up for 3rd Gen floormats w/ the RX7 logo (https://www.rx7club.com/group-buy-center-69/3rd-gen-upgraded-floor-mats-rx7-logo-color-your-choice-gb-390344/) but we raised over $100 (may seem small, but it's better than nothing) and donated it to the forum, even though donations from Group Buys are no longer required...

Also, Blake, who has the original picture, is the owner of the Rotary Engine Illustrated website, if I understand correctly

I'm probably being picky but shouldn't the emblems match? (Have the old "toilet bowl" emblem on the bottom and not the Flying "M")
