FD aftermarket pully belt sizes:
Ok, I know this has been covered before in different situations and I have searched but not found, I am going to be specific so hopefully I can get some good answeres:
I have an aftermarket MAIN CRANK PULLEY from horsepowerfreaks.com and I think it is an unorthodox racing pully. (This pully is SMALLER than OEM)
I also have an aftermarket POWER STEERING PULLY from horsepowerfreaks.com and I also think it is an unorthodox racing pully. (This pully is the SAME SIZE as the OEM one)
I also have an aftermarket WATER PUMP PULLEY from E-BAY.com and I think it is a generic brand. (This pully is LARGER than OEM)
I also have an aftermarket ALTERNATOR PULLEY from E-BAY.com and I think it is generic brand. (This pully is LARGER than OEM)
My Air Conditioner pully and my Idler pulley are OEM.
Ok, now my question is what belt size do I need for my alternator/main crank/water pump belt?
And what belt size do I need for my Power Steering/Air Conditioner/Main Crank/Idler pulley?
I know the ALT/WP belt needs to be 5 rib and the PS/AC needs to be 6 rib.
I have a goodyear belt 6 rib for my PS/AC that will work but is almost maxed out for tightness on my idler pully tentioner and it had stripped on me one time then I re-tapped it and cleaned it out and don't want to strip it again.
It's part number is 4060407 40-? 60(6 rib) 407 (40.7 length OD) so what is the next size down in ANY brand?
I also have a goodyear belt for my WP/ALT that will work but it is only 4 rib and i forget if it could go a size up or down.
It's part number is 4040300 40-? 40(4 rib) 300 (30.0 length OD) so what is the next size up AND/OR down in ANY brand with 5 ribs?? ie: 4050305 or 4050297
Sory for being soo long but i wanted to be clear of my situation.

You could
A. Do the math.. I dont exactly recommend because its complicated and takes time.
B. Get a piece of string, **note all pullys mounted on car** then rap that string around all the pullies just like the belt would go on. Take that string down to an automotive shop (Autozone's the best i work there = ) ) then have them match a belt to the string size. Make sure you know how many ribs each string needed. Ones a 5 and the other a 6. The belt doesnt have to be exact thats what the bolt tensioners there for, just get it in range of a couple centemeters max. Try it out/put it on if you have to max the tensioner either way and you have more then an inch of play between the two longest points then go back in and have them exchange it for a size smaller or bigger.
I definatly recomend doing choice B because its not all that difficult. I removed my AC/ Airpump pully and was able to do it in a shot or two. The guys at Autozone wont have any problems with an exchange either.
Note dont overtighten the belt... bad for all the bearings/pullys/belt. If its too loose it will squeel if its too tight you start screwing things up. About an inch of play is best. About half an inch movement each way
