FD - ABS & Battery light come ON and OFF??

So my FDs battery & ABS light come on and then they go away then come back on...

Took the alternator to autozone and it tested OK. Car also runs without the battery connected so I'm 99% sure alternator is fine.

Shouldn't be the ECU as I have the Apexi, but maybe?? (hopefully not)

My guess is the battery. Could a battery thats on its way out cause these lights to come ON and OFF?

Does anyone have any suggestions to try or test?
Thanks guys

Do they both come on/off at the same time?

Check the ABS fuse and make sure its seated correctly.

I had the ABS light come on all the time and my sunroof wouldn't work - it ended up being the fact that I was charging my cell with the cig lighter, as soon as I stopped it never happened again. The p/o pointed this out to me.

Might not be your problem, but it was a cost effective solution for me lol.

Yes both lights come on together, and go off together and it happens at random times and they both stay on random amount of time.

I will check the ABS fuse and see if its lose or something. I know my battery is **** so Im gonna replace it too and see

And I don't use the cig lighter plug

Today after looking at the voltage gauge read out on my PFC I realize my alternator is only intermittent charging. Charges when the car is cold, but once it heats up alternator sometimes charges and sometimes it does not.

I was wondering if anyone else had this problem? Wonder if my wiring could me messed up or a lose connection someplace?

Like I said alternator tested ok at autozone but then again I didn't test it when it was still hot, it was tested at autozone when it was pretty cold

Search for my thread possible alternator issue. Sounds very similar in nature, I even have a vid of it acting up. New alternator solved my issue.
