This is a scam!! There was an Ad just like that in the autotrader about a month ago and I inquired about it and got the preverbial email about sending a deposit overseas. I contacted autotrader and the ad was gone the next day.

This was my case. The owner didnt know what the car was worth and was selling it for his daughter. Seeing that it was parked for a few years and needed a bumper and airbag he thought it wasnt worth much and wanted to sell it to someone that liked working on cars. So I picked up a 93 FD with 25k miles on the car for two thousand five hundred after talking him down from 3k. Car ran and sounds like a dream till I flooded it this week .

Unfortunately, every 16 year old kid will read this post and think your $2500 deal is now the normal price and will lowball every single person on the forum. Deals like this might be a steal for the buyer, but it hurts every other seller out there who's selling a $16k car and getting lowballed for $8k.

Yep that's a scam I seen it the other day, I can't remember where it was, ebay, autotrader or something. When I talked to the guy he said he is going to ship it from Europe, I said well you can stick it ope Eur ***. No seriously though like the saying goes if its to good to be true than it is, and that's too damn good to be true. Nobody, is going to sell you a 94 "rare", silver "rare", with manual "rare" for 6,000 even if he's forest gump, believe me if it was that cheap you wouldn't even have the opportunity to buy it, it would be gone before it was even an idea.

I talked him down cause I didnt know what I was going to be getting into and neither did he. He wanted to get rid of it cause he thought if it sat for another year there would be nothing left or worth anything. I looked over the car and knew I could do something with it which I did. It had been sitting since 97, thats the reason for the low miles.
I been slowly going thru things getting it back to the norm and taking care of maintanence issues. Picked up a bumper and other odds and ends and she will be going for a paint job this comming Spring.
I'm also not 16 more like 31. I will also say you guys and this community are great and thanks for putting up with me so far with all my questions.
