Faspac hood no longer in production

I just got off the phone with them asking about their carbon fiber hood for my 93 and they told me that they arent going to make them any more since there isnt a demand. Looks like i'm going to go with the mazdaspeed one after all anyone have any complaints about their mazdaspeed FG or CF hoods? The replicas that is. And also where did you get yours and what all do you need to do to prep it. ie: does it come with hole for hood rod, washer nozzles, can you use the factory insulation etc....

and if you want to save the big huge pain in the ***...dont get a replica hood. get an original Mazdapeed. it will fit perfectly, and will be of the highest quality.

it may fit perfectly...but quality can be lacking no matter who made it...
remember they recalled it last year for possible latch failure...

nobody's perfect......

I'll be using hood pins and the guy thats fixing my car is a great body man so saving some money with the replica wont bother me.

My Mazdaspeed replica hood fit damn good!
And to be honest, most people would much rather spend the extra $1200 on something else
(replica = $600 Authentic = $1800)
