Dropped a new engine in my FD this weekend, on top of that I installed an Autometer temp gauge and replaced the stock sensor with the autometer one in the side iron. Now the cooling fans won't turn on unless the fan mod is engaged, and after they are on they wont turn off. I always thought the fans were controlled by the thermosensor behind the filler neck, or did I miss something durring installation?

The fans take into account more than just the thermosensor behind the filler neck.

I dont know why they overcomplicate things. A switch for ac and a simple thermo switch works fine. Looks like I'll just put them on a switch.
