fan only works with ac on /grounded relay

sup guys just finished putting the car back together from a rebuild and everything is good except for the fan not working. it was working a day earlier.. fan kicked on at operating temp, and the next day nothing .checked all the wireings again to see if i knock anything loose but everything seems to be plugged in and in the right order .if i turn on ac and ground 1 of the four relays in the front passenger side the fan will kick on. tried ground out the 3 other relays ,but all i hear is clicks .the single wire plug on the back of the water pump housing is also attached and not broken. any suggestions or ideas on how to diagnose this problem the simplest way possible ? ive read a few other pose on fans but they are usually how to mod them.

this is what i found after opening up the fan relays looms.. lots of butt connectors and some broken wires.the wires probably broke as i tried to move the wires to their correct position . question is where the does the two black and yellow wire go to as they are coming from the same direction

Have you tested the fan relays?

i opened up the other relay to see if it also had a black and yellow wire... and it did. that wire is just plugs into the terminal and doesnt lead to anything so all three relay besides the ac relay which i didnt check has 4 wires coming from the harness and only 3 wire leading to the relays.so these wires arnt the the problem. now to figure out why the rest of the fan speed doesnt work and only the one that working is the one leads to the single wire temp switch at the back of the water pump.

1 grounded the TFA pin . relay kicks no fan
2 also tried grounding the other two relay no fan
3 only relay kicking fan on grounded is single wire thrmo switch which opens at 107
4 i can read the temp on the power commander. does this eliminate temp switch failure?
5 does replacing ecu harness with rywire harness and leaving out the black fan box cause it not to run in other speeds?

My advice is to replace any harness that has been tampered with. Put it 100 percent back to stock/known untampered state. Just go on the classified section and get good used up modified parts, even if you have to replace the fans themselves if they've been cut into.

As soon as you see sketchy butt connectors, you say "aw HELL NAW"

found out that the white ground plug with 5 wires on the right side wasnt getting enough ground at the location it was in.moved it to another place and the fans work now .
