factory fog lights??

I was wondering if its possible to turn the factory fog lights on when your headlights aren't up. I wasn't able to turn just my fog lights on without the headlights on. Just curious. thanks.

It's possible. As it is now, there is probably a relay connected to the headlamp lights that allow the fog/driving lamps to come on only with the headlamps.

There probably is an easier way, but first thing that comes to my mind is running a new set of wires from the aux lamps to a new relay, with the factory switch triggering it on and off.

That sounds like it would work. I was wondering if there were any easier solutions.

I ended up cutting the hot wire that only came on when the lights were on and ran a new wire straight from the fuse box in the car that was always hot. Now i can use my lights whenever i want. Nick
