A/F controller needed for dp and catback mod?

hey guys, all i have are the realiblity mods, 3inch catback and a dp....im running stock boost 10-8-10. Should i add a fuel controller like an hks afr or some owther type of fuel mgmt?? if so, what's the cleaest way to go?

No, its not needed for your set up at this time. If you plan on doing anything else you will need to upgrade your ECU next.

Piggy back fuel controllers are not very effective.

what if i change the stock airobox to aftermarket intake and drop in a k&n filter and i still have boost lvls at stock.......then would i need to change my ecu??

The stock air box works as a restrictor even with a K&N. If you decide to get a true intake then yes, you will need to upgrade your ECU.

and just get a petit ecu? can i get something cheaper like a fuel controller? also, i forgot to mention the car also has a test pipe..should i change it back to the main cat?? i heard ill get boost spikes with the test pipe....i just wanta keep this car running fine without too many poblems in the long run...thanks

A pettit or M2 ecu will be the best ways to do it headache free. If you plan to get a little more crazy down the road I'd suggest an Apex Power FC, but it costs almost twice as much.

Piggy-backs like the HKS unit and the Apex S-AFC won't work for your FD.
