extra ground straps eliminate bucking...

I had posted a few days back regarding a surging, jerkiness or bucking in my car that I noticed when the cooling fans came on high, either thru using the fan mod switch or having the a/c on.

After re-reading some of the relavant previous posts, I decided to add some extra ground wires. So far, it seems to have done the trick. No bucking or jerking.
(fingers crossed......)

It helped mine dramatically - gone. I made up a set with multi- stranded copper wire, then crimped and soldered the ends to copper connectors. I went from the battery to the front of the frame, firewall, alternator, intake manifold, rear engine hoist mount and chucked the stock ground strap.
I went pretty heavy gauge - probably overkill. What's really interesting is I also don't have "rotary rock" at idle anymore. Smooth...... weird though, because I can't really think of a good reason this would work! The only reason I did this was that I saw them for sale on a Japanese site and thought what the hell.........they called it a Grand Earth or something like that - and they wanted damn close to a grand for a few freakin' wires!
