Expected RWHP gains for Full 3" Exhaust
How much extra RWHP should be anticipated over stock for running a full 3" non-restricted exhaust (DP, MP, CB).

Rotarius Maximus, either put the car on a dyno, or be happy with the "butt dyno".

did you read my post?!?! I had a Power FC so the engine will be able to take it, intake, and pulleys! Thats good for 300rwhp! Depending on boost elvel! You can run 11-12lbs with this..

BTW: Stock HP is 255
I would "guess" at 7-14hp gain for cat back exhaust. Lower gain for NA and higher for turbos. If there is a power claim, then expect 1/2 of that. Intakes are claimed at 5-10hp gain but realisticaly they are a 3-6hp gain (more for TT's since we have 2). The diameter of pipe and whether the muffler is strait through or chambered effects power as well.

Actually GoRacer, he was asking about RWHP. Most stock FD's are around 220-225 or so RWHP.
But as everyone has said, the power gain is really from the amount of boost that will be run as demonstrated in this thread:

You guys are dreaming. There is no way to guestimate what any given rx7s horsepower gains are after modding the exhaust system. There are to many variables involved. The results would be different across the board. No two car is the same. So no two cars will react the same under similar conditions. One car may produce up to 240 stock . While another may be 220.
There is no way to know what the horsepower will be until the parts are installed and the car is Dynoed.

I would say that you can get about 280-ish RWHP with an intake/dp/mp/cb at 10 PSI. If you push the boost up a few more pounds to 12 or even 13, 320 or so might be possible, but at this point you are probably taking some big risks without larger injectors and an upgraded intercooler.
If you do ever get it on the dyno, please email me a copy at brian@pop.net and I'll add it to my archives of dynos.

Give it up Dave....
As for the Sunfire, it's doing fine (aside from needing a recall done) until I get my house built.
