Everyone has their own opinion as to what sounds good and what doesn't. You'll be better off narrowing down your search by selecting the "type" of exhaust you want:

* dual or single tip
* straight or angled
etc...

lol, that's after deciding the look. I loved the sound of my old GReddy Power Extreme. Still probably the best sounding exhaust for the FD, IMO, but the look of it was horrible.

Ha...yeah.

I had the Greddy PE. Loved the sound but was too damn big and started to melt my bumper. Have the PFS now. Still a good tone, but drones like hell at about 80-90 cruising.

Shnazzy.... I'm not to big a fan of a dual tip, I like a Mild-fart-cannish look, but I also don't like the idea of parking a VW in my pipe either.... and I don't wanna set my bumper on fire. lol

I got the Bonez, sounds great and has an awesome low rumble while going down revs and lets out a roar when you get on it. My only complaint is that it looks fugly, just downright hideous :\

I have a MP, DP, and HKS turbo muffler and it sounds great. Very quiet at low RPMs even with the midpipe, but sounds great when you really get on it. Also doesnt look big and ugly either.

have the HKS dragger and I must say i love the sound although its not very attractive and the dam canister has the same diamter as my stock wheels, I think you could get lost inside of it. On the plus and most important ( for me anyway) its very very deep at idle but not loud. During cruising its still very deep and not loud at all, and at WOT I think ( at least from inside the cabin) it sounds amazing, very deep not the ricey sound by any means and not overly loud but you can definatley hear it comming from aways.

Also exhaust system sound bedpend on porting too. Before i had my current mild port it wasnt nearly as deep or loud.

Ditto completely.. then I was given an older Greddy.It changed to a deep tone and not "tin" sound. I wish I could get it in a 4"" intake pipe for new turbo system.

I have a RB exhaust and resonated midpipe. I have yet to find a non-stock FD thats been quieter than mine. I like the deep tone of the RB (not ricey at ALL) but it looks almost too stock. Its real small and most people assume it is stock until they get up close to it. Id prefer a single tip thats a bit bigger, but since I cant see the *** of my car when Im driving it, I'll opt for sound over looks.

Greddy SP here. Good materials and workmanship and it sounds just outstanding under throttle. Also has a nice low rumble at idle. But it's got a huge outlet and drones a bit at highway speed.
You might want to check these out too...

I have the HKS Hiper. i thought it was gonna be really loud witha a downpipe and no cat but its really not that bad. I picked it up dirt cheap brand new and i love it. I was looking for a canister syle exhaust and found most of the other exhausts overpriced. Its a big *** canister
