Talking Which Exhaust System would you recomend?

I just installed an APEXi air intake system, and would like to get some recomendations for an exhaust system to install on my RX-7. It is a 1993 model. Please give me some advice.

there are alot of good exhausts for our cars..what do you prefer? stock looking and not as loud? or racey look and loud as *****??

i, myself, have the PFS (peter farrell supercars) catback..it looks stock looking with the 4" tip and it sounds nice and deep at idle and crazy at WOT..

personally i think the greddy TI sounds the best IMO but i didnt get that because i dont want to be harassed by cops..

There are two, a single outlet and dual outlet tip. They make nice quality products, but like ulost2my7 said what kind og look and sound do you want?

I have a full FEED exhaust frontpipe, midpipe, and muffler which is 80mm piping with a 100mm tip and its loud, but very nice sounding and looking.

racing beat makes a single tip as well as a dual tip. i'm not sure if they still have the single available. It really depends on how far you want to take your car, if its only for street and u don't want to be harrased by cops, than the RB dual tip is great. deep tone, quiet, and not too noticeable. I have it on my car, and i wouldn't get any other..

But if ur planning to go race or take the car to an extreme performance ride, than its better to get the one you want in the first place. if you're going raced out, Titanium exhaust from HKS or Greddy are really nice. expensive, but very light weight and durable. Bottom line is, whatever exhaust you get is pretty much the same as long as the muffler box design is strait through and has consistent 3" mandrel bent piping(s).

I will have to see if I can find pics of the exhaust before I installed it, if not I can atleast get a pic of the muffler. I will also get some audio/video at idle and revving, not sure how I will post the audio/video though.

if u have the $ (i didnt) i wold say rb...but i gotta say i like the pfc a lot as well.

i have hks hiper, its not loud (with cats i havnt got my dp in yet) and its sounds pretty damn good. best of all you can get it for 300...i paid 350 >__> damn but i seen it for 300 now. if your on a budget i would reccomend that its been good for me. i would like to upgrade to something not as ricer-like in the future, but i gotta admit i like the looks of it too.

I say get a Greddy Ti. It sounds great at idle and at WOT it screams. Thats what i'm running, along with a DP and hi flow cat and it sounds great. And i also have yet to be harrased by cops.

Oh, and i'm soon to be part of that Full Open Greddy Ti owners club too!!
