Exhaust smell inside the car?
Quick question. Recently, as in the past 4 days, I have been smelling my exhaust fumes while sitting idle in the car. Nothing else really seems out of place. Normal power, it's not louder then normal, can't even seem to pinpoint an exhaust leak anywhere either. Odd thing is I haven't changed anything on the car in close to a month.
It still idles around 800rpm and jumps around 14-16 hg of vacuum so I dunno if it's a leak somewhere. I still get my backfire once in a while, and minor backfire/popping noise at idle so it all seems ok to me.
Could something be leaking near the turbo to cause this? I can still pull 12-13 PSI no problems. It's kind of annoying cause even just after a casual drive now I smell like fumes and my eyes hurt.
Any advice where to check for a leak? Mods are in my sig. Thanks
Bryan
