exhaust setup help
with this exhaust setup, would i need any additional upgrades, like a pmc or boost controller, to prevent boost spikes, turbo damage and or engine damage.

high flow cat
racing beat dual tip
stock intake

With a downpipe, hi-flow, and cat-back, you will probably be boosting atleast 12 psi, though this varies from car to car. The stock ecu cuts off fuel at 10.7 psi above 6000 rpm or so (the chart is on scuderiaciriani.com). I would never run 3 mods, especially a hi-flow cat, without controlling boost or with an aftermarket ecu.

If you don't have a boost gauge installed, do that first.
As stated earlier, every car seems to react differrently to modding... I didn't see anything above 10 until after I added my intake and ECU.
It's possible to spike with that type of setup, however I doubt that will happen. To be on the safe side, make sure you have a boost gauge. If you see spikes over 10, then you can think about getting a boost controller.
