Exhaust Question

Hi all, Just a quick exhaust question for you. Can I use a 3" Hi-Flo Cat with the stock cat-back exhaust? Also, what are the pros & cons. Thanks in advance.

I had a 3" dynomax cat welded onto a street pipe. That worked just fine.Plus you can eliminate your airpump.

You don't necessarily eliminate the airpump with a hi-flo cat.

The benifit is that you will be replacing something that's probably had it's time with something new. Most of the aftermarket hi-flo's are also lighter than the stock cat as well.

Yes you can.

Pros: Less exhaust restriction.

Cons: Less exhaust restriction.
