Exhaust problem

asking for a friend ho have some problem with my airpump...it is in good condition but it dont get any signal to start when the car is idle...
how should I go on to find wiring for the airpump to se if there is any problem with the cables and can it be an electrical data problem?

it's kinda hard to understand what you guys are talking about...


the airpump isn't getting power whne the car is idling ? you can get wiring diagrams at www.fd3s.net if your in need of them

the solenoid aren't getting any signal, today I tried to connect the airpump directly to the battery but the airpump are so sluggish so the pulley just slide on that wheel.
I will change the airpump but i still need to find out why the solenoid arn't getting any signal.
