Exhaust help

Ok, I have got like 3 tickets in the last 2 days about my "exhaust being to loud" I have a custom 3.5 inch from my t78 back with a pettit like can with some nice big holes in it from rust.. so its time to replace it anyways. My question is... is the hks Hiper/Hi-Power pretty quiet.. Im assuming it meets the noise standards. Also, how is the tone of this exhaust? I can pick one up really cheap... shipped so im trying to decide if its worth it.

To be honest, I don't know any single tip catback that is considered "quiet". They pretty much have their range of "loudness" with the Apexi N1 being on the high end.

If noise is a problem, something like the Racing Beat or M2 dual tip catbacks will be your best bet.

I've heard the Racing Beat duals and they sound very tame at idle and very 'nice' at WOT. It's a very good compromise IMHO. I'm waiting on one right now. If I get on Monday (should) I'll have it installed the same day.
