Exedy Stage I/II vs. ACT HD/Extreme clutch
The ACT's seem very expensive compared to the Exedy Stage I and Stage II's.
Are the Exedy's Stage I and Stage II any good ?
Anyone have any personal experience ?
Exedy Stage I holds 20% more torque, and the Stage II holds 68% more torque. What does that equate to ?
BTW: I've dyno'd 325 RWHP, and do track-days, monthly auto-x, and still drive her on the street.
Recommendations ?

What is really fascinating is you'll find that Exedy (aka Daiken) makes ACT clutches. I can't say how many ACTs, or details, but Daiken makes clutches for many vendors.
That said, the Exedy "stages" are generally softer / lower torque capacity than the bigger aftermarket brands. So if you want an Exedy, go 'up' a stage.
