Unhappy Everybody beats my FD

I got my car last december.
I haven't pushed harder because of wet weather etc.
last saturday I finally put boost gauge (VDO) and took it for a serious
spin.
but I got smoked by 94integra what a shame..
Because I got only 7psi of boost and even it drops.
SO please help me out.

I am getting 7psi what so ever.
I don't feel,see any transition.
boost drops after mid range
I don't here any leaking noise

And I checked so far.

crossover tube for leaking.
all the coupling tube and clamp.
wast gate control and turbo pre control solenoide connector for clossing
(I crossed and it was same..but there was blue connector at the same area and it wasn't connected is it for the automatic?)
pressure chamber

strange thing is What is that unused blue connector for and I got the color code for the wiring from the shop manual but it wasn't matched.
there was white dot on the waste gate solenoid but nothing on the connector.how can I make sure it is right connector?

and I'm gona check
vacum line for the wastegate acuator.
solenoid valve
pill in the wastegate vac line.

I think either waste gate control solenoid is stuck open or hose is disconnected so I am getting actuator spring pressure 7psi.
am I correct?
then how about second turbo? why it doesnt work?

please help twin turbo gods.
I don't wanna get smoked anymore..

Well, i'm no expert,
but one thing worth checking, is you're pre-cat,
it might be clogged(if you dont already have a downpipe).

aside from that, i think you should take it to someone
who really knows what he(or her)'s doing, he could probly find
the probly quickly.

I also suggest that you dont race anyone while it's acting up,
not only to save some embarassment, but just to be safe
that you dont blow your engine.

there should be a whitre dot on on end of the connectors. I can't remmebr if t goes to the WG or TPC selenoid, but it is the one on the right. Yes that blue connector shoudl be connected, I don't remmebr what it is, but I will check when I get a chance. Pre-cat may be clogged but doubt it is your major problem. your primary has to generate more than 8 for 2nd turbo to come ont. so first thing is to get 10psi on primary.

Major things that effect primary( can use shop manual to check proper operation of follwing and there controls)
-primary tubro leak, hoses, crossover, etc.
-BOV, check it holds pressure, etc.
-charge control actuator ( drive car, make sure it is pulled in with Key on)
-pill is in the TPC line ( I woudl check this first)
-connects to TPC and WG selenoids.

If you check all these you will porbably find your primary problem. If you get primary working and no sec' it gets more involved.

nope, that blue connector is for the egr on cali cars, yours should be unplugged if your not in cali.

check the vaccums, that is the only way. And test the check valves too

if the first turbo doesn't owrk, the second won't either. Find the problem on the first at first.

Do a bunch of research and put in the silicone hoses. It's a pain, but you'll learn so much about how your car works. I remember someone saying that the hose job is like a right of passage for rx7 owners.

Please, for the love of god, stop racing cars until this is fixed

I'm in the same boat. People pull up to me and want to race adn I have to act stupid and not look and just stay going the same speed. I gotta get my car fixed, this is crazy...

I assume that you have alreayd checked for all the easy to find piping leaks and checked for broken vacume hoses?

Thanks guys.

But still everybody race against me and I hate pretanding I'm not interested in racing.. damm civics..

any after work I put the home made A/F gauge and open the hood
and checked charge control valve for moving .
I turned key off and turned on the key but charge control valve(on the Y pipe) didn't move so I turned the engine and checked it again nothing move so turn off still same..
I did research it supposed to pull when turn the key on right?

but if ccv is allways open then why i have 5-6 psi boost I think all the boost suppost to leak to second turbo so i shuld get 0.
that is my idea but I'm very new to this magic of sequential world.

BTW I made A/F gauge and it shows 13:1 when wide open is it good?
I made it because its cheap and I can select color of LED my green
comes on at 13:1 not 14:1

thank Y'all I getting alots good stuff from the forum

It sounds to me like it may be a sequential problem. If it is, go parrallel with them! you'll feel better torque curve above 4 grand. It will take you a good day or two.

I was experiencing the same boost problem. Could never get more that 7lbs of boost. Even after installing a downpipe I still was only running 7lbs. Turns out I was missing the pill.

Just give the hose a pinch.

no,no don't need to.

first off the blue switch for EGR is not only on Cali cars, but 94s and 85s with the posistion sensor on the valve.

Red Rotor, yes the CCV shoudl be pulled in when key is on. But there must be pressure in the tank for this to happen, which requires driving the car and boosting, you may just have a broken pressure tank. Believe it or not the CCV not working is very common, most likely it is the Charge control selenoid, the hoses, tend to come off the selenoid in the rats nest.

Have you read the boost troubleshooting guide? check under the forum for links, and go to cesria succedian, ...(sp) anyway site is lighting in world of thunder.

If you still can;t find problem, PM me, it really isn;t that tough to find problem, just takes awhile.

How true that is. Especially with the engine being so tempermental/

Thanks guys..

KZ1 I cheked pressure tank but it looked fine but the hose doesn't
want to stay they were too hard so don;t have any grip.
so I have to do the complet hose job.
I'm doing this week end.also i'm gona check every solenoid.

funy thing is CCV pulls in when the engine is on(idle) but doesn't wnen key is on and if I revs up it moves back whit with throttle.
I donno well we'll see.

I don't want take her to shop because I'm a mechanic myself (hyundai dealer)I know hyundai suks but they pay me money
and I wanna know any single thing on my car.
