Is this even worth buying?

This is the description the seller posted:

"I bought the car when it needed some work. I had the engine rebuilt however the oil pan was not set properly. Before the car can be driven it has to be reset!!! If you have a decent knowledge of cars you can do it yourself. Because of this test driving the car after having the engine rebuilt was cut short. All the seals were replaced in the rebuild process except for the 3mm Apex seals. The Ecu is laying on the floor and needs to be screwed back into the housing. It is already hooked up. The battery is dead but can be recharged by taking it in to any auto shop. Other than these things the car is mechanically sound, however it will need to be towed to the buyers house."

How much do you guys speculate that it would cost to get all these issues worked out if I take this car to a quality mechanic and get it done right? I'm looking to buy an FD, but this sounds like it might be a pain in the ***. Also, I posted here once before about things to look for when buying an rx-7 and their upkeep and maintenance, and someone sent me some links to very helpful sites. If anyone could send me those I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Read the FAQ thread please.

And no, it sounds like a car to avoid, unless you are familiar with these cars, have good mechanical skills, and can get it dirt cheap. No offense but you obviously aren't familiar with these cars. I would pass.

Why would they reuse the Apex seals?

yeah... this is all just confirming what I already knew... Thanks guys... and I have no fukin' clue why they would reuse them, if they were replacing all the other seals during the rebuild I would not forget to replace those...
