Good info. I knew that less than 100 FDs were sold here in Italy, so this should be correct.

One question comes to mind though: who is that lone person who bought an FD in Finland?

I'm kind of surprised there were so many in Greece (relative to the other countries). Maybe it's the climate and maybe there was a decent distribution network at the time.

I have an FD in Europe but its an US import, quite a few of them are US imports. Original euro FD are rare, there is one euro FD in my country as it has the funny looking euro spec rear bumper.

If you go to Europen classified sites such as mobile or autoscout you will be suprised how many FD's are beeing sold in Greece, I always wondered why Greece has so many FD's compared to some larger EU markets?

It's rare to find a good affordable LHD FD, you'll have more luck finding a RHD Jap or UK import...or you'll pay a high price for a LHD one.

I remember searching for LHD FD's since 2007 until I bought my US import from Germany in 2013.

When I drive around my city people have no idea what it is, I have been asked if its a Porsche, supped up mx-5...etc. And sometimes people know its an FD and they pull out their phone and start taking photos and saying "I drove this car in Need For Speed"...lol one time a guy was following me in his car and recording me with his Iphone...I felt special , once I stopped at a red light and the guys in the car next to me started freaking out lol. I randomly meet people in my city that have heard of my car just by people seeing it and talking about it to others.

Its quite interesting how people react to it, even though is not a super expensive car. I guess the fact that is soo rare in Europe...and that is has this cult status makes it more special that newer M3's and AMG's...

I imported mine from Germany in March this year, and finding the cassi number to be 200019, i figured there would not be amy sold since mine was registered in September that year, and beeing the #19 car to leave Hiroshima heading for Europe in 1994. So i emailed the aftermarked support contact i had in Mazda Norway, and he did a request to the European headquarters, and got back those numbers.

Are there any stats for sales in the rest of the world? I'm actually curious about total production numbers including Japan. How many FDs rolled out of the factory?
