wouldn't the j-spec or euro lights be aimed the wrong way because they drive on the other side of the road?our lights on low beam are aimed at the shoulder the lights from thier car would be aimed at the oncomng lane in the states therefore blinding the other drivers(and maybe causing them to hit you)
I've got the same head lights, paired with some HID Catz and they have made a world of difference for me. I wanted to keep the stock pop ups, because I like the look, but needed better lighting.
They are supposedly from Germany, and the beam patter is on the correct side of the road, but it has better cut off, you can order them through Corksport.

Anyone know where to get the Euro (e-code) headlights for the FD ?
If not, would any of these work on FD RX7:

The E-code (aka, Euro) headlights have a better light pattern with better cut-offs and reflector optics than the USA DOT headlights.
These would have to be sourced from either a left-hand drive European FD, or ordered with the correct part numbers.
A JDM headlight is optimized for RIGHT-hand drive, so the cut-off/pattern is wrong for the USA which is LEFT-hand drives.
If you're going to go HID, the only RIGHT way, IMHO, is to install new optics/reflectors designed for HID, including GLARE reduction.
J_J is doing the right thing by using specifically designed HID housings/assemblies rather than trying to retro-fit an HID bulb into the factory headlight assemblies.
Once you have a properly setup (with relays) and aimed E-code/Euro headlight assemblies, you'll never look back.
I have them both on my W124/E-class Mercedes and it makes driving at 100+ MPH at night that much more safe.

Group-buy of E-Code Headlights
Per "The Glass Man" I contacted CorkSport, and we now have a group buy of E-Code/Euro headlights.
Our threshold is a low 5-pairs, for 10% off the website price of $452 found here:
http://www.corksport.com/store/index...=&item=1158026
That would $407 for the pair, which is reasonable for NEW E-code/Euro headlights.
Make sure you note on your order that you're with the RX7club, and they will charge you only 20% down, and will contact us in January when the shipment is ready to ship, and then charge us the balance.

Put me on hold for 5 min than came back to say he could get them for $265 ea ($530 pr), & that I need to wait 2 months for delivery.
Then he went on to say they sold them once back in 2000, none since.
Now you guys call & get a group buy going. WTF???
I'll give them another call, but I have had some issues with these guys from past orders. I swore I would never buy anything from them again. I guess never say never..........
I believe I spoke to Derek, and he said he had none in stock, and also said late January 2005 (2-months), would be when the next shipment comes. He said, they use to about $500 for the pair, but with the current currency rates, $452 would be it.
If we ordered, he would take a 20% deposit, and then call before placing the next 80% on your credit card.
FWIW, I just ordered them, and hope others do the same.

Try off-roading the FD so we can get an accelerated real world durability.
It would blow if something were to shake loose from the **** roads combined with the Viagra-assisted suspension.

I'm going to start this weekend.
