Escrow account came in handy Buying Ride

Guys I just thought I would send off some helpful information. I often see cars on line and other places that I would like to look into but there too far away. Well I just made a transaction and I used an escrow Co. to handle the money. When I take delivery of the car if its not as described my money is still mine. The escrow Co. won't give up the cash until I agree the car is as described. If a seller wont go for an escrow move on. It just saved me 10K on a rag last month.
Enjoy your 7s

I think you need to be more specific. Many escrow companies are actually scam operations. And who are you, Mr. One Post?

i wouldnt think hes a scammer based on his low post count. if he was a scammer i think he would be pushing a specific escrow service or product. he seems to just be real happy about the use of escrow to his benifit in finding a fd and figured he'd share it here. maybe i just have too much faith in people though.

I did my homework on the escrow Co. and decided to use one recommended by a large firm operating on the web. The minute you start talking escrow a scammer will vanish, but a legitimate person will be at first turned off a bit but once they understand its only there to balance the risk a buyer would have its clearly not a bad idea. I invite the seller to research the escrow co. and take their time deciding so they understand everything. I think it's a good solution in cases where the car is too far away to inspect.
