Question Erratic vaccum, which is solved by pressing the clutch pedal ALL the way down?

I have always had a shakey vaccum (the needle bounces around a little). Today, I floored the clutch, and the vaccum needle STOPS. Could it be that I have a vaccum leak in the slave cylinder or something of that sort?

no, there is no vacuum connected to the clutch master or slave... i assume you have and aftermarket boost guage. did you route the vacuum hose close to the clutch pedal under the dash? sounds like you may be pinching the line somewhere with the clutch pedal or something related whe it is fully pressed.
