engine trouble.O2 sensor???

alright. I was on my way to the track and I notice that my car is idling high. I pulled over thinkin it was a vac line but all lines are tight with no splits.

I had to run 112 octane (leaded) gas over the last few weeks cause here in florida, gas has been hard to come by from hurricane dennis. would the leaded gas have fucked the o2 up or could it be somthing else.

I wired the wax rod thingy 1/2 way open, so I don't think it is the cause. any Ideas.....

the car has a gt35r, pfc and every thing to support 15psi(pulls hard).

Its idling at 1500rpm and droping to 1200 or so over and over again. I unpluged the o2, stared the car and it did the same idle bouncething.

I pulled the o2 out (striped the threads when I did). Is there a way to test it???

check your vac. lines and check the line that goes to the back of the UIM. I don't think your o2 sensor really matters anymore with your mods.

all lines are in good condition and properly connected. Would a stuck pcv cause it it idle high and bounce around. the car still cranks easy runs ok boosts ok it's just idling wrong.

maybe a blown intake manifoild gasket???

Idle Speed Control? Hunting idle is an indication of a bad ISC. Try unplugging it. If it is working, your idle should bounce up into the 2,000-3,000 RPM range. If nothing happens it is "broke" technically speaking.
