ACK! What the heck was the solution? I'm having this exact same issue, car starts but clearly the ECU turns it off!

 

No GAS!!!! i bet money on it

Been there done that. no big thing. Once it took four of my friends standing on the side of the road for good spell of a time to figure out that we just ran of GAS!!!!!!!!!!! makes for a good laugh.

I've been getting PMs about this problem, I received 3 last week.

I had enough fuel, that wasn't it.

The battery was bad. I had to use jumper cables to get it going. After all the cranking and trying even the cables were not doing it, so I just took the battey from my daily car and there it was! Strange, I know...

I quess the weak battery didnt have enough juice to close the relays, while the car sat for a few years.

 

I give you props for giving us an answer! There's nothing better than reading through a thread and finding out your problem was the same as the OP's and you got to fix the issue. Thanks man!
