Engine Stalls
A friend of mine owns an FD and asked why does his engine stalls after driving in traffic or at low speeds. I thought its because he's running on a mid-pipe and stock ecu. Am i right? Thanks in advance!!

Many idle problems are caused by mods that affect engine breathing at idle. These mods change the idle speed.
The ISC and O2 feedback systems then try to compensate. But they only can do so much beause of their limited range.
This requires you to help them by adjusting the TB air bleed screw, and sometimes the throttle adjusting screw and TPS.
Try closing or opening the AAS first by 1/2 turn increments.
For engines whose revs drop very low befor coming back up, adjust the DASH pot to engage sooner.
If you do not know what I am talking about, get and read all of section F of the Mazda manual.

Mahjik, I asked him and he told me everything is still connected. Even the wiring harness.
cewrx7r1, i'll suggest your most helpful info to my friend. Maybe it would be better if he registers to this forum too! THanks again!
