engine smoking
My engine is smoking. I accidentally hit the positive leds and created some sparks. Car wouldn't drive unless jumped at the alternator. Bought new positive wires. When the car is turned on the coolant and oil lights come on. Off when it's running. No coolant burning. Oil burns 2 quarts and hour. smoke from turbo area also. Engine is still smooth and strong. Does anyone know what I could've done wrong or how I can fix this?

All the fuses are there. I don't see any burn outs.
My theory is when I was pushing the car, maybe the electrical system wasn't putting out enough power to control the boost or oiling properly. It has to be the turbo just because of the smoking coming from that side of engine bay.

reman mazda motor can be purchased at malloy mazda. they ship the motor to you or the shop for a fee.
otherwise, try getting a used one or have yours rebult.
If you shorted the battery, maybe the battery is fried or the electronics is malfunctioning.
I don't know exactly what you did. Maybe some more description of what happened would help. Maybe you don't need a motor.
