engine removal

hello, this is the 2nd engine im removing from a 3rd gen and im having another problem with the trany. This time im removing the 6 bolts from the clutch cover. Well after removing the 6 bolts whats next. I have seperated the clutch cover from the clutch.. I cant get anything to release , help.. When it does relase am I suposed to hear it???

ok, the "clutch cover" you speak of is the pressure plate. Once you get the 6 bolts off you should be free, just jiggle the engine off of the tranny and pull. Stupid thought...but did you unbolt the tranny from the block? If you take the 6 bolts off you don't need to release the throwout bearing...keep us updated, good luck

make sure the engine mounts bolts aren't getting caught. that was one if my problems.
