has anybody in here rebuilt their own engine? was it a pretty hard thing to do? would you tell me to do it myself or pay $2500 for the new engine? if you say rebuild it do you know a good spot to get the rebuilt kit

Yeah, I rebuild my own and have been doing so for a LONG time...You can buy a stocker for 2500. which is a rebuild or rebuild yours with upgrades and a port/polish job for 2000. to 2300. , assuming you didn't destroy the engine and the internals are good.
