Hi there
I want to know which engine oil is best suitable for mazda rx7 2000 jap spec auto...
The weather I am driving the car is 32C. I live in Pakistan so therefore the availability of engine oil is a little short.. I have mobil 1 and shell and caltex however there is a big price difference between mobil 1 and the rest....

Help would be appreciated..

No need to spend over twice as much on synthetic when plain old Castrol does the trick.

 

If you can get ahold of Mobil 1 reliably than I would use that. So long as there are no seals in your turbos which specifically cannot be used with synthetic oil it will probably be your best bet.


Also, please take the time to run searches and review the FAQ before asking questions which have been covered many times before.

 

As the others have said, please check the FAQ. The general "which oil" question always makes for a messy and distracting thread, so I may need to close this thread.

I agree with the others - Mobil1 makes good oil that is a trusted manufacturer. I have not seen anyone discuss Shell or Caltex oils on this forum for comparison.
