Question engine mount clips

Ive searched.

I almost have the engine ready to remove. The passenger side mount's clip is stopping me. I cant remember how to get it off. My turbo manifold studs are so long so I cant remove the turbo setup until i can sway the engine an inch toward the drivers side. (first thing to do on re-install is get shorter studs) I have messed up ribs and dicking with this bracket is starting to hurt.

Arent they just a u-shape bracket with the little lip at the bottom?

Please help.
Ted

Agreed...if your talking about the stainless band that goes around the rubber OEM mounts.
You should be able to pull the motor with the turbos and downpipe still attached.

I did just that, taking the nut off from underneath. I have a single setup that like stated above was immovable. The drivers side bracket was missing, so I assumed it would come off...

I have the end of my ribs that protrude from my chest (pulled away from the sternum) after an accident last year and they tend to catch/rub on all the coilover studs and such making it difficult to get down in there.

I appreciate the help.
