engine malfunction

ok, as i was taking off my spark plugs i noticed that my knock sensor was missing on the 2nd rotor from the get-go, it just was never there. well i installed new ignition wires and spark plugs and matched everything up correctly. i had to take off the throttle body and all the fittings accordingly as well. then for some reason when i started up my engine, the throttle started pulsing really roughly. i let is sit hoping whatever it was would burn off. well, i managed to drive it from my friends house to my house with a really rough idle. i dont know, my car seemed to do fine without the knock sensor before, but why after installing new plugs and wires. well, i think its the knock sensor, its that thingy above the trailing spark plug. can anyone help? oh, and when i try and start it, it floods the engine and i have to do that remove the spark plug thing and start it. then when i start it, it goes then dies out :-/

The car is supposed to just have one knock sensor - that's normal.

Make sure you got the plug wires on right - if they're crossed up or not going to the correct plug, the engine will run VERY weird. Also check the vacuum line to the boost sensor - if that gets knocked off, you'll have major problems with the car running and idling.
