Engine Install - Clutch Release Issues

Hi Guys, lurking here for a while, but just signed up to post.

Recently had a motor rebuilt and I'm having some issues with the clutch release when reinstalling it. The collar is pushed all the way back toward the transmission and won't move forward. Not familiar with these pull type clutches. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks for any help.

not sure what the question is but you have a monoloc coolar. in that picture its definitely EXTENDED away from the pressure plate as it should be and the throw out bearing is disengaged from the collar. in the situation shown in your picture, you simply need to engage the throw out bearing with the pressure plate and they will lock into each other. so just push the the throw out bearing towards the motor or press the clutch pedal and it will do it for you
