Engine compression numbers
Engine compression numbers
Would you guys shy away from a rebuild with 500 miles on it with compression of 92 on each rotor? I know thats low however do you think the seals are fully seated? Will that number go up with more miles?

i would find out the circumstances of the comp check. was the car warm or cold, throttle open or closed, and what cranking rpm. a cold car will lead to higher readings, throttle closed will lead to lower readings, and 250 is the ideal cranking rpm, lower rpm will lead to lower readings.
Hey thanks for the info!
He is claiming 18psi vacuum so I am assuming the engine is ok. My current fd's run at 19 and 17. My other fd with the blown engine runs at 10.
I will def try to get the paticulars,. Thanks again
