engine code 16? what is it?

engine code 16? what is it?
I've been searching for a list of the engine codes and I found one site with them, but code 16 is missing from the list. I've double checked my car and it is 16, so does anyone know what it means?

The 94 factory service manual says:
Code 16 = EGR function sensor, open or short circuit.
When I had the problem, it was from the connector not making good contact. A little dielectric grease did the trick.
