engine blew. now what?

get all the hard to reach coolant hoses while you are at it. there are a couple on the back side of the engine that are almost impossible to get to w/the engine in. also, i would pull the injectors and send them to rc engineering and then replace the o rings when you get them back.

engine blew. now what?

Other than a rebuild that is (Duh!) I know there have been more than a few threads on this, but I can't seem to find them. I will be pulling my engine (hopefully this week) and just wanted to know what else I should do while it is out. I would like to get as much done as possible, as I would not like to have to pull my engine more times than neccessary! My list so far is:

1) steam clean engine bay
2) polish aluminum, powder coat other junk
3) send downpipe to jet-hot
4) replace motor mounts
5) replace water pump
6) port match exhaust housing to turbo manifold
7) install lightened flywheel

Car has 115K on it, so let me know if I should be replacing anything else. Mods are:

BNR Stage 3's (what probably blew the motor!)
Efini Y-pipe
M2-style CAI
M2 SS downpipe
RX-7 Store resonated midpipe
Racing Beat dual tip exhast
Power FC

yeah, weird. I actually did have "clean injectors" on my list, but I was copying it from memory, so it got left out.
