So I have my engine almost back together and ready to go back in after a two month rebuild project.
Just need to figure out what hose connects to the crank case vent below the oil fill and where does it go? In the pictures, it has a red cap on it.

Seriously nothing goes there? The case is just vented to atmosphere?

 

that means your engine was built with a TII intermediate iron, you can cap it and will be just fine

 

Thanks guys. I'll cap it off and get the engine back in today. Thanks for the help. I was going nuts looking for something to go there.
