Can someone tell me, on a stock 3rd gen car when you turn the ignition key like you're going to start but do not start, does the fuel pump turns on then goes back of like most fuel injection cars?

 

I don't think it turns on till you put the key to the start position. I know that it comes on and stays on with the powerFC. I remember someone posting on this a while back and that is when I noticed that the fuel pump now comes on when you put the key to the on position.
