Angry Electrical Problems/Major issues

To cut a long story short after much messing around I finally ended up fitting an import motor to my car. The car is unfortunately a Japanese spec (right hand drive) since I live in Australia. The engine has been tested to have good compression however i'm experiencing the following issue.

At the moment the engine runs but dies after a short time (appears to run rich).. since not being sure whether all the sensors are acting correctly (map sensor, water thermosensor) etc. To combat this I decided to plug in the stock ECU (also has a PFC) and pull the relevant error codes. Unfortunately for some reason after shorting TEN and GND the dash doesn't appear to give me any error codes but instead flashes the "Seat Belt" light in an annoying fashion on the dash. No matter what I seem to do this seat belt light flashes (on both ecu's). (Yes i've double checked all

As well as that the Water Temperature and Oil Pressure guages don't work on the dash when the engine is started although the water temperature does appear to work on the powerfc data logit software.

Now obviously i'm thinking there's probably many issues here at once however if I can concentrate on the dashboard misbehaving first I feel I can work through the rest. After research on this forum I notice someone had similar symptoms which -could- be related to Dash ground however i've never found any such wire even on wiring diagrams. Does anyone have a better wiring diagram than is supplied with the RX7 Manual or can someone point me to the exact section I should be looking at since "Electrical Systems" seems to give me no relevant info whatsoever.

I've been without the car for over a year now and any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Extra Information:

It's a single turbo conversion (Trust T78)
Indiglo Guage Setup on the dash
Car does have Oil pressure (checked with manual guage)
All fuses seem intact.
Seat belt grounding and circuit wires checked and double checked.
Dashboard removed and bulbs for ECL light double checked (indiglo guages replace actual guages).

All in all it sounds like the dashboard issue could be just as simple as a bad ground but i'm not sure where to start.
