elbow Extra Injectors

Hi guys i was just wondering, i am running two extra injectors on the elbow. Now i don't really know if it's 850cc injectors like the secondary or not but all i know is that they are HKS injectors. I have no lines to hook it up or electrical lines to connect it to. So my question is, can i tap it into the secondary fuel line and have it feed those two injectors before going into the fuel regulator? and also can i spice the secondary electric line to the extra injectors to have them work at the same time at all? am i making any sense at all guys i hope so.

P.S. i'm also running the Apexi Power FC

How much boost are you looking to run or how much power are you trying to put out?

Unless you know the flow rate on the injectors, you definitely don't want to tie the operation of them to your stock secondaries. You won't know what injector setting to use in the PFC in that case.

IMO, if you want more fuel, you are better off enlarging your secondary injectors or using secondary injectors in the primary rail (4x850). The Greddy Elbow with the double injector bosses is the old school way of modifying the car. Back before there were true stand-alone ECU's, AIC's were used to control extra injectors. Today, it's not needed with the stand-alone ECU's available.

I have a streetport engine with a single, front mount, fuel pump, regulator, upgraded radiator set-up, and i'm looking to run about 14-16psi with the stand-alone ECU. So what you're saying is that instead of running the extra i should have just put those in the primary fuel rail. Is this going to need any modification at all, and would it deliver enough fuel for me?

First thing is you need to find out what the actual flow rate of the injectors are... No one can tell you if you have the right fuel without knowing:

1. The cc of the injectors you'll be using
2. The exact brand/model fuel pump
3. The exact brand/model turbo

As for using 850's in the primary rail, you need to have the rail milled down a little to fit the injectors. You can either have a machine shop do it or send it to Garfinkle. He provides the service at an extremely good rate.

Nevermind guys, those injectors were 550 according to the part number Denso 19550-1370 so i decided to go with the RC 1300cc made for the stock fuel rail, so hopefully this will be good enough. But thanks alot guys for the helps.
