Since the 1995 FDs sold in CA did not have EGR valves, and apparently met CA emissions standards, I would like to block off our 94's EGR ports without causing an ECU code. I ran across this thread in the archives: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...ight=EGR+Valve
which proposes using a 12V relay whose contacts replace the EGR sensor contacts.

Although the author describes how the relay contacts are connected, he does not mention how the relay coil is activated. It reads as though this connection would be coming from the EGR solenoid's ECU signal input, but that is not explicitly stated, nor is there any mention of where to pick up that signal, how to route the wiring, or where to physically place the relay. Has anyone done this, and if so, has anyone any advice beyond that given in the thread? Thanks!

block it off and use a 330ohm resistor plugged into the harness.
