I posted this in the Ecu forum but i know a lot of people check here more often. My buddy wants to know which ecu to get. His budget is kind of limited and he is not planing to go single or something like that. He is thinking about either getting PFS PMS ecu or Pettit Unlmited. The mods that he'll only have in the future are, full exhaust, intercooler, intake, fuel pump and some other bolt ons.

I have PFS and i'm pretty happy about it, but i don't know anything about pettit. So can you guys tell me what you think.

The person that I bought my Pettit ECU from ran it with a full exhaust with no problems, and loved it. The person he got it from did the same, and loved it so much he regretted selling it afterward.

I'm running it with the usual bolt-ons, but with a hi-flow cat, and it still hauls ***.

 

cool, Does it matter though which year is it tuned for. I know 93's don't have electrical side of the EGR valve, and 94's do. so Is the check engine light gonna come in if he get's an ecu from 93 and puts it in 94?
