Where is the ECU in a 3rd gen rx7?

Behind the passenger side kick panel (at least on US models, I assume the same on Euro models).

Its not a UK car, I imported it from Japan and it has a few mods as most do. Just wondering if the ECU has been changed.

The ECU's are different for different Japanese models and years of production but their location should be the same.
