ecu code 13

my mazda dealer can't fix error code 13, what could be the problem he is obviously thick. anyone give me some ideas to make him look silly!

Actually, I think the Mazda manual has a troublshooting guide for problems in this area.

yeah but the have had it for 3 days with no joy the power plumets at 4000rpm! replaced vac hose to sensor,so what the hell are the doing?

Look at my reply to your other post. Buy the boost sensor get your car back replace the sensor yourself, (it's easy couple of nuts, an electrical connector and the vac hose) and don't give the shop a ******* dime. If that doesn't fix it take it somewhere else. Those idiots in the shop obviously have no idea what they are doing.

Are there any other symptoms that your car has besides losing power at 4000 rpms?

What's your oil pressure look like?

Do you have a boost gauge installed? What is your idle vacuum reading?
