As long as you keep it at 10 psi, you should be fine. That said, I had similar mods and really liked how my car ran just on the base map after installing a PFC. And with a commander you can monitor things and not just guess.

fosachi,
I'm in the middle of my build and am upgrading to BNR Seq. Stage 3's and a street port rebuilt motor by Fighters Garage. For now I will be running the stock ECU with these mods. I have searched and asked the experienced ears here and they have all said that as long as the stock PSI is not exceeded then the stock ECU can be used to run the motor.

+1 PFC. I got one, and even though I waited for MONTHS for it to ship, I'm very very very glad I did. Staying at 10PSI is like promising yourself just ONE beer when you're out with the boys. The smart money says it's the right thing to do. Even though you'll be a paragon of patience and dedication for it, and even though you'll probably earn lip-service respect for it, it's really no fun and in the end it kind of kills the whole experience.

My $0.02.

I think we would all agree a stand-alone aftermarket ECU offers the ability to tune and take advatage of your mods, but, thats not what this guy is asking. He wants to know if he has to spend an extra $900-$1000 dollars on an ECU because of the mods he has in place now. An Apexi PFC may be on his wish list, but it may not be an option for him now.
