Question Eccentric shaft pulley?

When putting the belt for the Greddy kit on I was turning the alternator pulley to feed the belt on. As I was doing this the eccentric shaft pulley started to move. Now here is the question. Will this effect anything? Like timeing or anything like that? It kind of worried me because I didn't think you were supposed to move it out of place.

The timing reading comes off of the crank position sensor, which is driven by a notched plate behind the main pulley. As long as that didn't move you should be fine. Isn't the main pulley keyed onto the crankshaft?

yeah...that was the motor turning over, it does that a lot when you crank the car

unless you had the pulley unbolted, it's no big deal....paw140 is right
