ebay short shifter for fd transmission

Has anyone had any experiences with these? they usually are relatively inexpensive, but does anyone have one? How do they stack up?

It's a piece of **** the way it comes, but I did some modifications to the springs and added some better grease and it works ok for a $25 shifter.

I've seen one that is a copy of a B&M. It is inferior because the pivot ball is plastic and wears out faster than a metal one would. You need to grease it alot. For the price, it works decent though. Make sure you use lock washers and locktite cause they always come loose.
